Walmart's Get on the Shelf Contest Winners Announced!

Walmart's Get on the Shelf contest challenged inventors, tinkerers, thinkers, marketers and everyday Joes to submit their products for sale on Walmart's shelves. Walmart shoppers watched over 4,000 product videos — some intriguing, some wacky, some inspiring — and voted for the products they liked best. The result? A totally new way for products to earn a place on Walmart's shelves, courtesy of our savvy shoppers.

Voting on the finalists has closed, and thanks to all the shoppers who voted for their favorite products, we're proud to announce the winners! Our runners up got on the shelf because they demonstrated an ability to save Walmart customers' money so they can live better. The PlateTopper wowed us with a handy way to save meals, leftovers and snacks. The PlateTopper turns plates into airtight food storage containers. Next up, the SnapIt Eyeglass Repair Kit gave us an innovative solution to a common frustration — those tiny eyeglass screws. The SnapIt Eyeglass Repair Kit also got on the shelf because of its commitment to donate proceeds to Jaylenís Challenge, an 11-year-oldís mission to end bullying.

The Get on the Shelf grand prize winner truly warmed our hearts and showed us that the Walmart customer cares. Humankind Water is bottled water with a mission: providing clean water to some of the 1 billion people without it. 100% of Humankind Water's net profits go to ending this global crisis.
